Big Talker

People who are around Gabrielle often enough to really hear her talk alot know that talking is her thing. I'm not saying you have to be around that often to know about Gabby's Talking Power, either. For instance, you might be the recipient of a phone call from me every other day and hear the phrase, "So, we were [insert story setting] and Gabby said...." Yeah, I know. I repeat our conversations all too much. It's like she's the popular girl at school, and I'm name dropping.
"...for real? And then she said... And I was like, 'Uh uh.' And
she was like, 'Yeah, girl.'"

Well, she is funny. So I'm not apologizing. Moreover, I will proceed with more Super Talking Power episodes. So there! And this one doesn't even have any impressive sentences or where'd-you-learn-the-word-"intruder" moments.

Episode 893
Lunch time, today. Taco Bell @ home. Nachos Bell Grande.

L: Jason, ¿quieres practicar hablando en español? (Jason, do you want to practice speaking in Spanish?)
J: [extended pause] Sí.

Spanish practicing commences. Lauren begins to turn her practice on Gabrielle.

L: ...mi pelo (points to "my hair,") mis pies (points to "my feet")...
G: Mi barbar. [Points to rib cage.]
G: Mi shooshoo. [Points to wrist.]
G: Mi NO--- NO! [Points to arm.]

Yes, she knew what she was doing. She cracked up. Her "mi no no" was undoubtedly her way of saying, "Mom, I can do this, too, and you sound like an idiot."
