So, we went on our roadtrip, and it was even better than expected. I would expound, but I've only got so long before Jakers! The Adventures of Pigglywinks is over. I wish I had time to edit and post video from the Lexington Legends ballgame we went to with Mom and Dad. Perhaps another day.
Long story short: All three Lutzes enjoy respective roadtrips, meet at home for a few hours, and disperse again.
Jason and I went to Chapel Hill on Monday (that's the dispersing part) while Linda kept Gabby here at the house. I finally had the bleomycin injections (5 or 6?) into The Plantar Wart (AKA Rufus, so named by the Wells clan.) The following video is really a slideshow of pictures of my foot. Some of you are probably clutching your desks at the idea that I would actually post this, but I was asked to! I promise! See, I even put it into a video format so that no one would be surprised when they pulled up the page. You'll have to push play if you actually want to see the foot. Okay?
WARNING: This is a plantar wart. It is disgusting.
I'll have to go back for a second round of injections to get that white area that hasn't been treated yet. You can only have so much bleomycin in one treatment. It really isn't hurting right now... just a little tender. I also have a pins-and-needles numb/tingling thing going on from my ankle to my knee. That is described as "unusual" by my doctor. I concur.
I have to go, because someone is knocking my carefully stacked pile of loose papers and junk mail off of the fireplace.
I CAN'T GET THE VIDEO TO WORK. GABBY MUST HAVE KNOCK THIS OFF TOO.
ReplyDeleteI too cannot get the video to work-build us all up to see something gross and then the letdown of techinical dificulities...
ReplyDeleteI was not grossed out. I'm proud of you for posting :) Die, Rufus, Die!!
ReplyDeleteAlright, I think we're up and running again! If the video goes offline again, it's definitely Google's fault.
ReplyDeleteGood video work of a bad subject! I'm glad you documented Rufus before you killed him off. My favorite parts of this blog are The Title, the artwork within the video, and the fact that your are starting to use your daughter as an excuse for not completing projects! If you can roll the dog into the excuse, you might not even have to start projects!
ReplyDeleteHope that leg-tingling subsides soon(assuming you don't like it).
Hoping you will soon be wart-free!!!!
ReplyDeleteHi, Lutzes! I have enjoyed reading your blog! You are great writers! :) Please email me at karen@tcota.org- Karen Murphy Alger
