Weekend!

Working a full five days really made me appreciate the onset of the weekend. The thought of getting up and spending Saturday morning with my husband and daughter is a bright spot in my sleep-deprived mind. Yesterday was another highlight of the week... After a decent day with my school kids, I came home, fed Gabrielle, took her on a walk, sat on the front steps with her (it was at least 65 degrees here yesterday), and even made it to the grocery store last night. It's a lot easier to go to work when I feel I've spent quality time with Gabby. I must admit, it takes real effort to give her all the attention I want to. Teaching used to exhaust me before I was even pregnant. Now that I'm nursing a newborn, I'm pretty much dead by 9 pm. Jason snuck this picture the other night when I fell asleep burping Gabrielle.
Now that I think about it, that dream about Saturday morning being so lovely involves sleeping in.
