Well, we made it. It was a tough time with the sickness, but it's over. No one in this house has a fever, and that's the way the way we like it. Uh-huh uh-huh.
For Christmas, Mom and Dad got us what I would call the Ultimate Gamer's Unit. Scrabble, Yahtzee, chess, checkers, cards, cribbage, etc. All in one box. Wicked awesome. I already got beat at Scrabble, and I'm looking to exact revenge via Yahtzee.
Oh, of course, these pictures are of Gabrielle with my grandparents. While we were in TN, she got spoiled with bouncing by all the family. Natalie was the prime suspect, and she taught the magical cry-stopping motion to anyone who was holding Gabby.
Thankfully, Gabrielle adjusted right back to regular life when we got home. I just wish that Jason and I could. It's exhausting working full-time and being a mommy. Today was harder to leave her than it was yesterday. I hope it doesn't get worse and worse throughout the semester. I'm sure the separation anxiety has to plateau at some point.
