Our Favorite Activity

Well, I spent 20 or 30 minutes writing a new post this morning, and I lost it. Argh. Precious moments wasted. Try again!

Last night I drove for the first time in 2 weeks. I almost cried walking through the doors of Food Lion. It was the first time I'd left the building where my daughter was, and I realized how much had changed since I'd last been to the grocery store. Thankfully, Natalie was there to assist as I ran down the aisles throwing frozen foods into a cart.

So, we thought we had an interim pastor. But we don't. I jumped the gun on that post, and it's a long story as to why. You can pray for Jason as this will surely be an even busier holiday season than normal.

We are making our first road trip tomorrow to go see Maw Maw and Paw Paw Hull (plus about 25 other people, a cat, and a dog.) I'm a little nervous about Gabrielle getting sick, about keeping the whole house awake at night, and about me riding in the car that long. However, the thought of seeing family - especially the part that we only see once a year - makes me actually excited about starting packing this evening. That says something.

I also went to work for an hour today and got my grades turned in. Getting out of the house really helps break things up for me, and I think it's helping me be a little more sane. (Judge for yourself.)

With all of this going on, you can see why sleeping is our favorite activity.
