WAITING... and WAITING... AND wait-ING!!!!!

The church gave us a lovely baby shower on Sunday. Such generous people! Perhaps one of the most fun parts was the help we got from two little girls in unwrapping our gifts. We were told this is how it will be from now on.

I thought we had a name picked out yesterday. Then today, Jason says, "Ehhh, maybe." I hate making big decisions. It's hard enough for the two of us to decide on a place to eat.

How is Baby Girl feeling? She's a bit uncomfortable, being so cramped and all. Mostly, she's happy, though.

How is Mama feeling? She's also uncomfortable, being so cramped and all. Mostly, she is absolutely sick of waiting to go into labor. [side story to come in a moment]

How is Daddy feeling? If he is uncomfortable, no one would know. He is ever the super-sport, putting up with Mama's bad attitude and encouraging her with jokes and hugs.

Today, I went to the doctor. I waited for 50 minutes for them to even take my blood pressure. Then I waited another 30-40 minutes to see the doctor. Then HE DIDN'T EVEN CHECK TO SEE IF I'M DILATING! Argh. All that waiting for him to say, "Cool. See you next week." Yup, see you next lifetime, Doc.
